I was hoping I'd get called out on that. Perhaps I find Carmela more intriguing because she's a woman, and, therefore, more mysterious. Also, the religious aspect of the show is the most interesting to me, and she's more intellectually curious about that than anyone else on the show.

Hey now, any list of great TV characters that doesn't include Hank Kingsley from The Larry Sanders Show is incomplete.

And I prefer Herb to Les.

Bart is the id of the show, and Homer is the ego, but Lisa is the conscience.

I should have turned this topic into an essay.
