Oz

The Wizard of Oz turned 60 on Friday. Ozzie Smith was ageless as a player, becoming the first 41-year-old opening day shortstop in baseball history. He performed his patented backflip in uniform at Busch Stadium five months after his 39th birthday. His son Nikko was an American Idol, but Ozzie has a fantastic voice as well. Check out his rendition of Sam Cooke's "Cupid" on the 2005 Major League Baseball compact disc, "Oh, Say Can You Sing." Upon its release, the cut earned 4 out of 5 Frank Violas.
