The Human Voice
November 26th marks the 3rd annual National Day of Listening. The event is the brainchild of StoryCorps, an organization dedicated to the recording and preservation of oral histories.Earlier this week, Huffington Post provided a link to a piece by Studs Terkel in conjunction. Terkel, who died in 2008, is one of our great oral historians, and a Pulitzer Prize winner for "The Good War" in 1985 .
