Moeller TV Listings 7/13/07

You have to live in the broadcast or cable television vicinity of Fox Sports Midwest or Philadelphia's CW 57, but if you do, the Cardinals, tonight at 6 central, take on the Phillies in the first contest for both teams following the All-Star Break. A loss by the Phils would mark the 10,000th loss in franchise history, making them the first professional sports team anywhere in the world to lose a total number of games in the five digits. The Good Phight fansite has a lot of interesting statistics on this topic. For example, had you noticed or ever suspected that the current decade (the 2000s) has been the Phillies' best-- according to winning percentage-- since the 1910s? I hadn't either.

What could be more fitting, for futility's sake, than losing your 10,000th game to Kip Wells?
