I watched it and the phrase that I thought summed it up best was "creative destruction."
Wal-Mart has created the most efficient and cost effective way of getting the goods demanded to the consumers that demand them. It has caused the other retailers (and suppliers) that can not adjust to that way of business to be hurt. That is just capitalism at it's best.
They could probably become even more efficient and cost effective if they fastened chains around the ankles of their Chinese workers and kept them hooked to the assembly line 24/7. Then with just a little luck, you could get both change AND death.
The U.S. Govt. subsidizes all those millions of Wal-Mart workers who live below the poverty line. Wal-Mart is not capitalism at it's best. Wal-Mart is a scary.
In the states that keep records, it's something like one-third of company employees have children on Medicaid. That's called corporate socialism, not capitalism.

I prefer change.
