Not a bad showing for a new-to-politics, 3rd-party candidate. How many of those 1,871 other voters do you think you met in person?
How did it feel to see your name on the same ballot as the great John McCain and the underrated Christopher Reed?
Maybe you should move to District 59 or District 70, where there is not a strong party biased.
Just kidding. In Polk county, you put up by far the best numbers of any 3rd party candidate. Your 22% blew away the 3.1% of the Libertarian candidate in Dist. 60 and the 1.5% of the SWP candidate in the US House race. Congratulations.
We were pullin' for you, man. You ran a great race and have reason to be proud. Stick with it and try again! We need to start electing 3rd party candidates to office.
22% is nothing to scoff at, especially for a 3rd-party.
Any time someone legitimately challenges an incumbent, our democratic process is certainly strengthened!
You got your name and points of view out to the people, and now you're poised for future success.
